Sage

Did you know that if you add a bundle or two of sage to your campfire or backyard fire it will help keep away bugs and mosquitoes?  How cool is that?  Or hot?

Sage is also a purifying/cleansing agent.  For those of you who are mystically inclined, you'll already know this.  However, if you didn't, add sage to your fire and cleanse your backyard!

Also, a very happy Beltane and May Day to all those celebrating!  May the God and the Goddess be with you!  Many blessings.

Upcoming Projects Means Upcoming Posts!

Coming up, I'll be making as much homemade stuff as I can.  I've gotten so inspired making garlic oil and laundry detergent, I can't wait to find out what else I can make at home!  Plus, I have a very good friend who's experimenting right along with me, and as soon as she gets her own blog up, I'll link to it.

I was thinking about trying homemade toothpaste, but after my research I'm preferring not to.  Plus, with coupons, I can get toothpaste for free.


Hopefully my kitchen and bathroom will begin to look more like this:
