There are a number of books I've read that state within their pages that your spirituality and your craft are not necessarily linked. For example, a witch can be a witch without being Wiccan. Basically, they say that witchcraft isn't necessarily only practiced by Wiccans.
Well, that's true. However, I feel that spirituality, whatever yours might be, will be irrevocably linked with your craft if you practice it. Witchcraft is a fundamental part of my spirituality: it's how I pray, commune with Spirit and nature, and help to bring positive change into the world.
In the TV series, Charmed, the girls don't really have a spirituality to go with their powers and craft. It's a little alien to me because it's so much a part of my faith. I wear a Goddess pendant, not a pentacle. Not because I don't resonate with the pentacle, but because the Goddess is a closer symbol of my spirituality.
What is the difference between your spirituality and the craft? Do you find a difference, or is your craft similar to mine in that it walks hand in hand with your faith?
