Way to Combat Anxiety #22: Art

Art is awesome; I love art.  Normally, my problem is that I want to create a piece of art that is of the skill level of someone else.  I've learned, however, that I just need to find what I'm good at.

I learned I'm pretty good at photography, but I enjoy making something out of nothing, and photography in my mind is more of an observant art. So I figured out I like painting.  Now, I have a friend who is absolutely amazing at painting and I swear every time she touches brush to canvas she makes a masterpiece.  I don't have that kind of talent.  And I can't draw/paint people very well.


So this past weekend my Nana helped me figure out what I might like to paint: abstract textural art.



I'll post pictures when I'm finished! :)

I'm almost done with 2 paintings as part of a series I've decided to do!  I will take pictures and post when they're finished (hopefully tomorrow!)
